BOMs Away – Jack’s Chain Green

I am definitely going to have to agree with Pantone here – green is a great color.

I quite enjoyed pulling out my green scrap bin and making these up. In fact, while it was out, I pulled a few more greens for a Greenery project. There’s a Greenery quilt challenge due at the end of the month, and I know I’ll only qualify for the top. {If that!} But it’s worth a try, right? Especially if I get to look at all my fantastic greens again.

Anyone else doing a scrappy or regular block of the month? Link up here or at What a Hoot!

FYI – Since Judy Laquidara at Patchwork Times is no longer doing “Design Wall Mondays”, I talked to her and got permission to continue Design Wall Mondays at my blog:

I hope to see your posts on future Mondays, Judy Hansen

Best of luck on the GREENery challenge!!

I love your green nine-patch blocks! I lean toward nine-patch blocks all the time . . . trying to MAKE myself branch out more ~smile~

Lovely green nine-patches! I should be working on that color for the RSC17, but still working through the ton of aqua. Thanks for sharing your project with us on Midweek Makers!

Hum, i’ve been pulling some green to go with a bunch of aquamarine, turquoise, teal, blue, navy and anything that is in between those colors. Now to remember to pull some green for the RSC. It amazes me how “yellow” has become over the years. 15 or so years ago it was all about the blue-greens. Makes finding mates for old fabric hard but love having the variety. (Hum, did I basically say I like my “old” stash????)

Very pretty greens. You’ve got a wide range from light to dark. It seems I have all mediums!
