BOMs Away – Eternal Bloom #5

Number FIVE, people! FIVE! I am halfway through these suckers!!

Even better, it’s a pretty one. I’m not in love with the purple, because there’s very little contrast between both purples and the black, but other than that – pretty!

{Except now I’m staring at it, and the bottom purple flower is upside down. The green bits don’t match up. Sigh. I’m going to have to fix that…}

Just a little behind the scenes – 215 pieces. {I started counting. Maybe I should stop. I don’t want to cry.}

All laid out and stacked to do the stitch-and-flip thing.

Just to become four of these little 5″ suckers. Ugh. Definitely glad this is a BOM and I don’t have to look at it again until next month. When I will officially be more than halfway! {If you don’t count the center or borders.}

How did you do on your BOMs this week? You can link up here or at What a Hoot!

5″? Ugh, better you than me! It looks great, though!

LOL! You certainly have a love/hate relationship with this project! There always has to be one in our life, right? It is looking good though, and kudos to you for the tiny work – don’t count the pieces! Thank you for sharing at Midweek Makers

Katie Mae – I love the blocks! I especially love the colors . . . I never seem to use a dark background but I always like how it looks. I need to shake up my usual stuff – get out of my white/beige/gray box and go to the other side. ~smile~

Very pretty! I like the subtle color shift in the purple, it’s not a bad thing to have a lower volume block in the mix.
